Execute the Actions of the Analysis

Just after the first step, the Sequence Analysis Rule runs the actions according to the user’s configuration. An action is the standard execution of: Collect-Element, Collect-Transfers, Collect-Input, RUN and Publish steps. If the configuration for the steps forecast the execution of the Collect-Input and Run only, then only these 2 actions will be performed for the analysis configured for the step.

This behavior is very useful for improving performance in case of dependent analyses. For instance, Composition Tracking analysis needs several Attributes of each Element from the Mass or Volume Balance analysis to run. Since those Attributes are already existing in the same case, the Collect-Input step of the Composition Tracking analysis can be skipped, saving time for the execution of the analysis.

Note: When executing each step, users must be very careful to avoid overlapping of input and output Attributes in order to have a coherent set of data within the same case.
